Gin lovers rejoice! Hendrick’s Gin has officially unveiled its latest delectable limited release Scottish Gin. Aptly named Flora Adora, the balanced floral spirit (43.4% ABV) uses a secret selection of flowers to create a lusciously floral gin. We love the herbal aroma and were blown away by its wonderfully deep rose characteristics.
The newest addition to from Hendrick’s Cabinet of Curiosities is lovely on its own; we thoroughly enjoyed it neat). But it also makes a perfect base for refreshing botanical tipples. Hendrick’s Gin Officially Releases Flora Adora
Hendrick’s Cabinet of Curiosities has recently unveiled a limited edition gin called Flora Adora, which takes inspiration from the captivating flowers and the pollination processes.
The gin’s creation was overseen by Hendrick’s Master Distiller, Ms. Lesley Gracie, who has a keen interest in observing the activities of bees and butterflies. She has carefully selected the flowers that these creatures adore the most to create Hendrick’s Flora Adora, which boasts a fresh and alluring floral aroma. This delightful gin is the perfect choice for any garden gathering, be it large or small.
Enchanting Wildflower Garden Pop-up at Caffe Fernet
From 25 April to 25 June 2023, Hendrick’s Gin will be celebrating its newest limited release with a Wildflower Garden Pop-up located at Caffe Fernet.
This two-month pop-up sees Caffe Fernet transforming into a floral haven, set against the backdrop of Singapore’s breathtaking Marina Bay skyline. It is open to everyone, and offers an enchanting array of Hendrick’s Flora Adora cocktails and delectable dishes as pairings.
Enjoy Cocktails Concocted with Flora Adora Gin
Indulge in a selection of delightful gin cocktails created in partnership with Caffe Fernet’s talented bartenders. The menu showcases Hendrick’s Flora Adora in unique presentations and taste profiles, using varying fresh ingredients that complement the delicious gin.
Whet your appetite with The Hummingbird ($23++). Inspired by aperitivo cocktails, it is concocted with a complex blend of Italian bitters, fragrant earl grey tea, ripe bananas and freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice and garnished with an orange cosmos flower. We love its bittersweet flavours and how gorgeous it looks.
The Butterflies & Bees ($23++) is a fruity and velvety-smooth rendition of the classic Gin Sour. Imbued with house-made orange peel, jasmine honey and apricot liqueur, achieving a harmonious blend of sweetness and sourness. A beautiful ulam raja flower for its garnish.
The Blossom ($25++) is an incredibly refreshing and multi-layered twist on the classic Spritz. Sakura tea infusion, Migaki Ichigo Strawberry sparkling wine and peach highlight the fruity notes of the gin. It’s served with a pretty branch of coral vine flowers – a plant that’s loved by pollinators. It’s our personal favourite out of the three!
Pair Drinks with Gourmet Dishes
To complement the exquisite Flora Adora cocktails, indulge in a delectable selection of dishes from Caffe Fernet’s refreshed Spring and Summer menu.
The Burrata ($29++) is an excellent choice for an appetiser. It features macerated strawberries and cherry tomatoes in a citrus-balsamic sauce with a pine nut granola topping.
The Golden Pomfret ($48++) is delicately pan-seared to perfection. Boasting a crispy exterior and juicy interior, served with a spicy Calabrian pepper spread and Kalamata olive crumble.
Conclude your meal on a sweet note with the creamy and velvety Rhubarb Panna Cotta ($16++). Prepared with Hokkaido milk and topped with orange-marinated rhubarb and toasted Sicilian pistachios.
