#1 Bangkok’s Asia Today Guest Shift at Gibson (2 October)
Gibson Bar is celebrating its 9th anniversary! To mark the special occasion, they have invited Bangkok’s Attapon De-silva and Kwan Ponkamon from the renowned Asia Today for an exclusive guest shift on Tuesday, 2 October, from 8pm to 12am.
Since opening in 2017 on Chinatown’s Soi Nana, Asia Today has gained fame for its creative use of native ingredients, with a special focus on locally-sourced wild honey from different Thai regions. Founded by the team behind the acclaimed Teens of Thailand, Asia Today has earned accolades, including Best Creative Bar Menu at the Bar Awards 2018, and currently ranks at No. 90 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 extended list.
Guests can expect a night of inventive cocktails featuring wild honey, like the Dance Like A Butterfly—a unique twist on the Old Fashioned, blending Monkey Shoulder Whisky and Discarded Banana Peel Rum with Stingless Honey, topped off with aromatic coconut flakes.

Edoardo Nono, one of Italy’s most celebrated bartenders, began his career in 1988. After studying Hotel Management at Rimini’s University of Tourism, he co-founded Rita & Cocktails, Mr Three & Bros Ginger Falernum, and Rita’s Tiki Room. Edoardo is also a key figure in advancing the cocktail community through training and consultancy.
Born in Arona, northern Italy, Massimo Borroni developed an early passion for hospitality. He honed his skills through internships at luxury hotels while studying at the E. Maggia Institute in Stresa. His bartending journey took him to venues around Lake Maggiore before he joined Rita & Cocktails in 2018, where he now leads the bar and continues refining his craft.
