2. Finn’s Beach Club: Asia’s ultimate lifestyle destination

3. Gimme Shelter Bali: Rock n’ roll, night owls!
Founded by internationally-known Balinese rock stars, Made J – Gimme Shelter is one of the only venues in Canggu that stays open till past midnight. Situated right off Jalan Batu Bolong Street, along Jalan Lingkar Nelayan, the club has been a popular hit amongst expats and receives a high-energy crowd every night.
Gimme Shelter is a space and place that pays homage to tunes dating back to the era of rock, grunge, punk and metal, with live band performance every Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Happy hour runs from 10 PM to 11 PM daily and it is recommended for you to grab a couple of Bensin, their signature shot aptly named after the local word for “petrol”.

4. Ji Terrace by the Sea: Rooftop bar with amazing sunset view
Visit Ji Terrace by the Sea and enjoy the 180º view of the sparkling Indian Ocean atop the roof of Ji Restaurant Bale Sutra. The rooftop bar is a popular spot to catch crimson sunsets in Canggu.

5. La Brisa: Built with reclaimed wood from old fishermen boats

La Brisa is a bohemian-chic beach club located on the foreshore of Echo beach. Fishnets are hung from tree to tree and you hear the leaves rustling while feeling the sea breeze gently caress your skin. The rustic establishment is absolutely charming, making it a fitting place to have hearty conversations over booze and comfort food with your favourite people.
Using mostly ingredients that are foraged from the Island of the Gods, the menu takes on an exquisite spin on seafood and Balinese cuisine. You can find items such as home-cured salmon toastie and tuna tataki toast and expect exotic cocktails made from seasonal fruits as well as homemade herb-infused spirits.

6. Old Man’s: Your fuss-free beach club
Dubbed as a “beachfront beer garden”, Old Man’s is a beachfront bar that offers affordable ice-cold beers (from IDR 25,000/bottle). A playground for the grown-ups, Old Man’s is conveniently located along Batu Bolong Beach. You can choose to kick back under wide Balinese-style parasols after getting your surf’s up or sink into colourful bean bags to cool off on a hot summer day.
Everything on the menu is served in a ‘surf club meets beach bar’ style, where you can find your favourite classics such as burgers, fries and salads (from IDR 54,000 to 110,000) and authentic Indonesian dishes all ready for your Instagram stories. 7. Pretty Poison: Skate jam events and affordable booze
Hidden in plain sight, Pretty Poison is unlike any of your regular beach clubs in Bali. However, they are no stranger to the hipster crowd and are known to host rad skate jams and solid parties. Some highlights include indie movie screenings, exhibitions by local artists, flash tattoos done by their fearsome-looking tattoo artists and even a custom-built ‘dog bowl’ for skaters to shred some rounds!
Do not expect artificial lawns, posh furniture or fancy cocktail glasses. The only form of décor you may come across are Playboy covers that are heavily plastered across the walls. Jugs of cold Bintang are available for purchase at IDR 100,000.
