1. Bar Mirai
A newly-opened Japanese Whisky bar in Pantai Indah Kapuk, Bar Mirai is, simply put, a sanctuary for whisky nerds. Bringing quality bar experiences to the quieter North, the bar curates a dizzying array of exotic whiskies and cocktails to boot. Their resident bartenders will feature different series of bottled cocktails every weekend in limited quantities. 2. D’Classic
This Japanese-inspired speakeasy—which draws much of its cocktail and interior inspiration from some of Ginza’s finest—have begun selling their own signature range of classic cocktails in pre-batched bottles. Cocktails on offer include signatures, Rusty Nail, Negroni, Boulevardier, Hunter and Manhattan—perfect as an after-dinner digestif or a nightcap before you hit the hay. Every order includes crafted clear ice and garnishes.

3. Gioi Menteng
For those residing in the Menteng district, relying on the good folks from Gioi Menteng for your lunch, dinner and cocktail cravings wouldn’t be such a bad idea. They’re currently offering three bottled cocktails including the likes of their Old Fashioned, Negroni and Rob Roy. Struggling to decide on which one to get? 4. Koda
A classically designed speakeasy specialising in bespoke cocktails by a veteran cocktail maestro, Yutaka Nakashima, Koda is where you turn to for expertly-made drinks that come supported with top-notch attention to detail. To make staying at home a little less dull, tuck into the likes of Yutaka’s signatures, which include his Nangka Old Fashioned—fashioned with American Whiskey infused with jackfruit, Apricot Liqueur, Maple Syrup, Lemon—, Caferoni and Camomille Vesper. Cocktails are available in two sizes—150ml and 300ml portions.

5. LBRTY Jakarta
Located in the SCBD area, LBRTY Jakarta is a remarkable choice for those residing in and around South Jakarta. When bars were forced to cease operations, LBRTY was the first to answer the call to make bottled cocktails available for takeaway. They currently do four bottled varieties—LBRTY Negroni, Lychee Martini, Cosmopolitan and Old Fashioned—, available in both 50cl and 100cl formats.

6. MINQ Kitchen
If you feel yourself deserving of a quality nightcap, Chinese restaurant MINQ Kitchen on Jalan Suryo has a selection of nine (and counting) of their signature cocktails available for delivery. For the uninitiated, their cocktails are reimagined classics which feature Asian-inspired flavours. Take the Ju Long, for instance, made with chamomile-infused gin, plum soju and more.

7. Pantaja
One of 2020’s hottest new openings, Pantja—meaning five in sanskrit—is a cocktail bar and restaurant situated in a strategic location next to Jakarta’s Business District. They offer a myriad of sensational food items including two of their signature tipples for you to really take in-house drinking to the next level. Their Bloody Maria and Jungle Bird clarified cocktails are highly raved about—both available in sizes of 150ml or 500ml.

8. The Union Group
The Union Group, who own restaurants, Bistecca, Cork & Screw and Union, have rallied their individual forces to provide cocktails on-the-go. Combining signatures from each restaurant, you get to enjoy a range of tipples such as their Penicillin—not the miracle we asked for, but definitely something we could use to help soothe our moody souls. A smoky, spicy and bright-tasting cocktail, it features whisky, ginger and honey all mixed together with tangy citrus. Their cocktails all come vacuum-packed with garnishes included.
