It’s summer all year round in Singapore, but that won’t stop us from enjoying the snow during the year-end. Come this December, witness Yuletide spirits in full swing at Garden by the Bay’s Christmas extravaganza as the nature park gets taken over by a multitude of festive happenings. Watch as the gardens come alive with large-scale illuminations, live entertainment, installations, festive nosh and plenty of Christmas cheer!
Now into its sixth edition, Christmas Wonderland 2019 will mark the debut of the Christmas Parade, a brand new interactive Santa’s Workshop, a riveting mix of international theatrical productions and so much more.
Happening from 29 November to 26 December 2019, you have the entire month to go celebrate with your loved ones. Read on to see what you can expect at this year’s Christmas Wonderland 2019 at Gardens By The Bay.
Luminarie Light Sculptures – Lit until 1AM daily
Be dazzled by majestic luminary light sculptures, including a stunning 21-metre tall Spalliera inspired by the iconic towers of San Gimignano in Tuscany, Italy, as well as Asia’s tallest luminarie Christmas tree.
Santa’s Workshop
A surefire hit among the little ones, pay a visit to Santa’s Workshop and witness elves hard at work wrapping presents and meet the man himself, Santa Claus.
Santa will be at the workshop between 5.30PM to 10.30PM from Mondays to Thursdays and 4.30PM to 10.30PM on weekends.
Smash Hit Productions – A series of international theatre acts
Lined up for this year’s event is a series of performances from international theatre acts. Trash Test Dummies (from Australia) is an award-winning, slapstick comedy, circus routine that’ll surely have you laughing your pants off. Other theatrical performances include Snow Play (from the UK), The Old Shoemaker (from Singapore) and Vitaly – Pure Wonder (from the USA).

Christmas Parade
Making its debut at this year’s Christmas Wonderland, look out for a parade of colourful festive floats as your favourite Christmas characters dance to familiar holiday tunes.
Blizzard Time
If you’ve never experienced snowfall before, this comes decently close. It sure isn’t cold, but it’s magical against a stunning backdrop of luminarie light sculptures. The little ones will probably fall for it and that’s all that matters. Blizzard Time happens a total of 5 times each night. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Carnival Games
There are 18 traditional carnival games and rides including a Mini Viking Ship, Bumper Cars and a brand new Swing Chair Carousel. What’s more, visitors can hop on board the Christmas Train to soak in the sights and sounds of the festive season without having to push through the crowd.
Yuletide Sessions – Live Music Performances
Soak in the festive vibes with intimate performances by some of Singapore’s homegrown talents under the twinkling lights of the Cassa Armonica, nestled in the middle of the Spalliera. Acts to get stoked for include the likes of Inch Chua, Sam Driscoll, Jana Ann & Joy Alexis as well as Christmas carollers by Singapore’s acclaimed choir groups.
