Conceptualised by the metal music genre’s most chaotic group, Slipknot presents a metal festival happening in the Chiba Prefecture in Japan that’ll rock you like a hurricane.
Gather your fellow rockers and head down to Makuhari Messe convention centre in Chiba prefecture to rock out at Knotfest. You can expect thrilling theatrics, nightmarish costumes alongside a curated lineup of gut-busting acts! A festival by metalheads for metalheads, come celebrate with Slipknot, Trivium, Korn, Suicide Silence and more!

A mayhem-inducing mash-up of some the world’s most popular metal acts, concert-goers can anticipate an excellent lineup!
Day one’s lineup comprises Slipknot—famous for their gut-busting sounds and nightmarish masks—, Anthrax, Man With A Mission, Survive Said The Prophet, Baby Metal and A Crowd Of Rebellion.
Paying homage to Japan’s exploding indie metal and rock scene, the opening acts slated to perform include a fine repertoire of home-grown delights, including prolific groups such as The Winking Owl, a Japanese pop/alternative rock band heavily Influenced by American emo and post-hardcore genres and well as Band-Maid, a 5-piece, all-female Japanese rock band—they literally dress up as maids.
Day two’s lineup will feature the likes of Slipknot as the main headline act, joined by guests Korn alongside ‘The Pale Emperor’ himself, Marilyn Manson, Trivium, Crossfaith, Noisemaker, Suicide Silence and much, much more!
Getting Tickets
As it stands, tickets for 2-day general admission and day 2 tickets have all been sold out. The only tickets available are for day 1’s roadshow, priced at 9,800 Yen (Approx. $89 USD).
You best pack a pair of heavy-duty boots, possibly even body armour, because, with a stellar cast of this calibre, things are bound to get rough—and seriously out of hand.
