Sake lovers will be no strangers to the largest, oldest and most exciting annual sake event, Sake Festival Singapore, by Orihara Shoten! This year’s edition is particularly special because it’s not only the 8th edition of the event but also marks its official return after a three-year hiatus due to COVID.
Sake Festival Singapore: 17 June 2023
Held on 17 June (Saturday), from 2pm – 7pm at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre, Level 3, Summit Hall 1.
Over 300 Sake Labels

Our Recommendations
Kirinzan Ginjou Distant Thunder: Very pleasant, dry and crisp. A typical Niigata sake with lively aromas
Nanbubijin Aiyama Junmai Daiginjou: Our personal favourite – made from the legendary sake rice “Aiyama,” polished up to 50% of its original size. Elegant, with a slight sweetness and goes very well with food.
Sake Storm Cowboy Middle Press: Won Gold at the IWC2020. Fruity, soft sweetness and notes of coconut rice. The sake was collected in the middle of pressing, giving it a mellow taste.
Yamagata-Masamune Junmai Ginjo Malola: Made using Malolactic Fermentation, a technique used in winemaking, which gives the sake a gentle and soft profile. The aroma is a blend of various fruit scents, including apple, banana, and other fruits. Overall very well-balanced with sweetness and acidity. A must-try at the festival!
