After a sold-out debut last year, the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter is returning to Singapore on Saturday, 22 November 2025, bringing one of the region’s most anticipated fine wine events back to the Shangri-La. Collectors, enthusiasts and even curious beginners can look forward to a full day of exceptional tastings and discoveries from some of the world’s most acclaimed wineries.
Since its founding in 1975, Decanter has played a significant role in shaping wine appreciation around the world through Decanter Magazine, Decanter.com and its various events. It is also the organiser of the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), which has grown into the largest and most recognised wine competition globally.
Following the longstanding success of the London Fine Wine Encounter, the experience has expanded to cities such as New York and Singapore, reflecting the growing interest within Asia’s wine community.
Grand Tasting: Over 50+ Prestigious Wineries at Decanter
Look forward to the Grand Tasting, where more than 50 wineries from both the Old and New Worlds will pour up to five wines for each ticket holder. Guests can enjoy a diverse range of expressions, from special bottles and library vintages to large-format bottles rarely seen outside private cellars.

Three Insightful Masterclasses for Wine Lovers
Guests who wish to explore deeper can attend one of three masterclasses, priced between S$200 and S$450 per ticket. Each session offers a focused look into a renowned estate or region through guided tastings and intimate conversations with the winemakers.
Brunello di Montalcino: This masterclass features a comparative tasting of the 2010 and 2020 Brunello di Montalcino vintages from four leading Italian producers: Il Marroneto, Biondi Santi, Giodo and Col d’Orcia.
Château Margaux: Guests will have the rare opportunity to taste four decades of wines from Château Margaux, one of the most respected names in Bordeaux.
Henschke’s Old-Vine Expressions: Australia’s historic Henschke estate will present two verticals, Mount Edelstone and Hill of Grace, both sourced from old-vine plots first planted in the 1950s. This tasting is expected to be a standout experience for many attendees.
