Good Vibes Festival: Malaysian Music Festival Returns to Genting in July

Good Vibes Festival

Good Vibes Festival 2019—Malaysia’s much-loved and most highly anticipated music festival is back once again. The festival is set to take place from 20 to 21 July at The Ranch, Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands, Malaysia.

Taking place high up above where the air’s much cooler, surrounded by rolling greenery, pretty lights and an arsenal of stellar acts, all you need to expect is good music, good company, good food, and good vibes—and possibly the chance of rain too.

With an event of this magnitude happening so close to Singapore and an artist line-up that’s begging you to spend all your money, featuring the likes of Yuna, San Holo, Rae Sremmurd, 6lack, Cashmere Cat and more, you’ll want to start assembling your festival crew right now.

Performance Line-Up

This year’s line-up includes the likes of Yuna, Rae Sremmurd, 6LACK, Anna Lunoe, Cashmere Cat, Cigarettes After Sex, Daniel Caesar, Jess Connelly, Dean, San Holo, Yaeji, Jai Wolf, Mura Masa and more.

Yuna is a name that needs zero introduction. Native to Malaysia, Yuna has a certain soulful appeal about her that resonates with anyone who listens to her music and her voice. She has worked alongside many music greats such as Usher and G-Eazy, creating soulful head-bopping pop with popular hits ‘Crush’ and ‘Blank Marquee’.

Getting There

Good Vibes Festival

If you don’t have a car (which would probably be the case if you’re a tourist), there are two alternative options that you can consider transport-wise—taxi or bus.

Taxi – Taxis are plentiful within the main city of Kuala Lumpur so flagging one will not be a problem. If you decide to book a Grab, simply input the location “Good Vibes Festival” and Google Maps will direct your driver directly to Genting Highlands.

Bus – If you’re planning on taking a bus from Kuala Lumpur, you can opt to take the Genting Express Bus (inclusive of skyway cable car transfer) which departs from either One Utama Shopping Centre, KL Sentral, Pudu Sentral or Terminal Putra LRT Gombak.

Alternatively, you can book a shared transfer via Klook.
