Jai Thep Festival 2020: 3-Day Music Event in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Pack your bags and gear up for Jai Thep Festival 2020. Back for its fifth edition, Northern Thailand’s leading arts and music celebration is pulling out all the stops to deliver a fully immersive experience complete with large-scale art installations, stages and immersive environments that’ll leave you awestruck.

We’re talking 3 days of high-octane, multi-genre music ecstasy courtesy of a curated list of local bands and DJs, workshops, and a score of other fun activities and wellness workshops—all happening inside the magical world of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The Glastonbury of Thailand

The Glastonbury of Thailand (according to some folks), Jai Thep has become known for its vibrancy and quirkiness. A place surrounded by natural beauty where curious souls can wander off to encounter all kinds of wondrous realms, each offering something unique from a flawlessly curated arts and music program to theatre and wellness workshops.

To top it off, Jai Thep takes pride in its ongoing commitment to promote a lighthearted, inclusive, eco-friendly and family-friendly space. Even if you’re a solo raver, the festival is bound to have something that’ll make you feel right at home.

Nestled in the Heart of Beautiful Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai offers a different view of Thailand away from the busy metropolitan city of Bangkok. Close to nature and surrounded by vast mountains, the largest city in Northern Thailand offers a irresistible charm alongside experiences you wouldn’t find anywhere else in the world.

The festival takes place just a little outside the city, nestled between gorgeous meadows, bamboo-clad mountains and a breathtaking cinematic landscape.

Artist Lineup

Jai Thep is known to curate a list of artistes from all over that cover a wide spectrum of music genres spanning folk music, hip hop, techno, deep house and trance, indie, punk and even molam—Thai country music. The festival is slated to include a repertoire of more than 80 performers.
