By now, we all know that it has been a tough period for the F&B industry in Singapore. Especially with the constant changes of measures i.e. no dine-in, no music and no alcohol past 10:30PM. This weekend, Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall, Good Luck Beer House and Laut will be closing this chapter. They have fought the fight, but unfortunately are resorting to shutting down due to the various circumstances.
Here are three bars to head to this weekend and raise a toast to their wonderful teams.
Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall: Last Day on 31st Oct
This local-inspired cocktail bar is one of the many places hard-hit by the pandemic. Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall offers a wide selection of cocktails inspired by Asian cuisines, along with local craft beers and hawker food. In its eight years of operation, they have come a long way in Singapore’s growing bar scene; with honorary achievements such as #71 in Asia’s Top 50 Bars as well as #257 in the World’s Top 500. We are saddened to see a bar close to our hearts go. You will still be able to enjoy their specialties from now till their last operating day on 31st October.

Good Luck Beer House: Last Day on31st Oct
Good Luck Beerhouse is dedicated to bring the best Singaporean craft beers paired with their delicious array of comforting dishes. Operating for over five years now, they will definitely be missed. Have one last drink with them at Haji Lane with their $20 Set – check out their Instagram for more information! As they said, “this is not a goodbye”, and we sincerely hope to be able to see them again one day.

Laut: Last Day on 30th Oct
Bravely launched during Circuit Breaker, Laut Singapore fought hard through the struggles that the pandemic brought about, aspiring to elevate Southeast Asian flavours and its culinary heritage. The dream is unfortunately disrupted by the ever-changing dining restrictions. We are heartbroken to share that Laut’s last service is on 30th October. Take this chance to visit them and indulge in their unique yet familiar cocktails and dishes one last time.
