Know anyone from Malaysia who’s always had a distinctive flair for music? Or someone who already commands a decent following, but is in need of an avenue to showcase his/her talents during this trying period? Tell him or her to get excited—because something cool’s brewing. For those who aren’t so lucky to be able to afford the equipment, or the knowledge to host their own live-stream show, now they can!
Award-winning Malaysia-based entertainment, events and creative management company, The Livescape Group is lending a helping to budding artists; opening its doors to provide an immersive space with state-of-the-art gear that talents can utilise to stay relevant and grow in the digital era.
In addition, equipment and a professional technical crew will also be provided to support virtual live-stream gigs for anyone seeking to develop, explore and work on their online content.
The Livescape Group Presents Livescape Sessions
In light of the pandemic, music events across the globe have all been cancelled. But instead of cancelling their events entirely, many have taken to virtual live-streaming as an alternative means. Through this, they can provide entertainment, stay connected with fans and help raise funds to those affected by COVID-19. But not everyone has the privilege, equipment and knowledge nor the opportunity to host their very own concert. Let alone one as technically complex as one hosted virtually.
No matter though. Along with space, Livescape will have a team present that will work alongside the artist; exploring the various technical factors in creating an engaging live-stream on their own channels. Key aspects include prioritising the visual appeal of the set-up alongside factors such as camera, lighting and audio.
To kickstart their efforts in supporting the local music scene, Livescape has already engaged in working with local talents i.e. Bass Agents, Axel Groove, acts of Saturday Selects, Sweatbox, and Under The Radar.
With hopes of re-energising the local music industry during these times, Livescape hopes to lend a helping hand wherever they can. To support the aspirations of local artists to explore their creativity in a safe, conducive and well-equipped space while seizing the opportunity to stay relevant, stay connected with their fanbase and grow as an artist during this trying period.
“We wanted to create an outlet for artists who would like to bring their art into the digital sphere. But were unable to do so for various reasons. We’re hoping to inject their personality into live-streams, revitalising the local music scene and bring hope to the music community here in Malaysia”, said Wan Muhammad Atif, Artist Manager of The Livescape Group.
