1. The Malt Affair (2 November)
Whisky enthusiasts are in for an exhilarating experience as The Malt Affair returns for its eighth edition on Saturday, 2 November 2024. Designed “by maltheads for maltheads,” this community whisky event offers an exciting opportunity to sample over 400 whiskies from 21 exhibitors.
The Malt Affair will also feature esteemed international whisky experts, including Dutch specialist Michiel Wigman, Japanese authorities Hideo Yamaoka and Tatsuya Minagawa, along with Italian connoisseurs Max Righi and Enrico Gaddoni.
Taking place in the Amara Singapore Ballroom, tickets for The Malt Affair Volume 8 start at $15 per person. Attendees will gain access to a diverse selection of over 400 whiskies, with prices ranging from $5 to $2000 per 20ml pour.
While the lineup includes rare vintage whiskies from the 1950s to the 1980s and popular Japanese labels, an impressive 70% of the whiskies are available for under $50 per pour, ensuring there’s something to suit every taste. Guests are encouraged to bring their own glassware or can purchase a Luigi Bormioli snifter glass on-site for $10.

2. Italian Wine Masterclass at Vivino Wine Shop (5 November)
