Your long, gruelling lockdown phase is just about to get better this weekend with Virtual DisDance Festival.
In perhaps the biggest, most epic virtual music festival lineup to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic thus far, American broadcasting company, SiriusXM, announced that they will be hosting Virtual DisDance Festival. The first-of-its-kind live-stream music festival begins this week on Friday, 22 May 2020 at 1 PM PST (23 May, 7 AM Singapore time) and ends on Sunday, 24 May 2020.
Virtual DisDance Festival will be hosted by The Chainsmokers and flaunts a scintillating lineup of the EDM industry’s best DJs. We’re talking about big-name artists including Alesso, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Kygo and more!

Paying homage to one of EDM’s most prolific and iconic DJs, Virtual DisDance Festival will broadcast a recorded 2011 set from the late dance music icon Avicii, which will surely be the icing on the cake for true-blue EDM fans.
“The virtual event will bring the festival experience to life and entertain Dance music fans nationwide with original performances and appearances they won’t want to miss,” said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer of SiriusXM.

The Chainsmokers, who recently announced a hiatus from social media, will return to the public eye for the first time in a while by hosting the inaugural festival on SiriusXM.
We mentioned that this was going to be an epic event, didn’t we? Well, it is. The event will feature exclusive DJ sets from a selection of EDM’s best. Look forward to Afrojack, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Kygo, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Tiësto and more.
The broadcast is available to all Sirius XM subscribers as well as non-subscribers, who can take advantage of the free trial through 31 May 2020.
