Established in 2012, the annual Hammersonic festival is considered one of the biggest metal and rock festivals in Southeast Asia. It is also one of Indonesia’s most highly-anticipated rock shows. To give you an idea of how massive a scale the event is, renowned international groups that have graced Hammersonic stages include the likes of Bullet for My Valentine, Lamb of God, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Gorgoroth and Megadeth.
Calling all metalheads, time to rally your metal-worshipping brethren to Jakarta for a skull-breaking weekend of metal music mayhem in Jakarta because Hammersonic 2020 is returning and this time with an even sicker lineup. We’re talking international headliners Black Flag, Slipknot, Trivium, Comeback Kid as well as a solid lineup of regional and local bands as well!

Among the solid repertoire of heavy metal bands that’ll be gracing the event, international headliners include the likes of critically acclaimed, Slipknot, Sinister, Suicide Silence, Comeback Kid, Trivium, Italian gothic metal band, Lacuna Coil, Aussie-based metalcore band, Polaris, Osaka-based heavy metal band, Crossfaith, Taiwanese rockers 恕 Solemn and many more!
Getting Tickets
Pre-sale 1 and pre-sale 2 for 2-day passes are going for 1,250,000 IDR (Approx. 90 USD) and 1,700,000 IDR (Approx. 121 USD) respectively. Alternatively, if you’re planning on getting your tickets on the spot on the day itself, tickets for individual days are 1,200,000 IDR (Approx. 86 USD) for day one (27th Mar, Friday) and 800,000 IDR (Approx. 57 USD) for day two (28 Mar, Saturday).
