#FindTheLockerRoom is the most hidden bar in Bangkok
Ignore all news about #FindTheLockerRoom being closed as of last December, because the secret cocktail bar has actually reopened in its new location a few months ago (since February)! No, this isn’t some news that we heard from a friend’s friend or whatsoever… We have personally been to #FindTheLockerRoom twice, and we have something to say:
It is so hidden… You might actually never find it.
In true speakeasy fashion, people are under the impression that #FindTheLockerRoom has shut down. But in reality, the bar has been in operation the past few months and serving top-notch cocktails every day till 2:00am. However, note that you have been warned that it also happens to be the most hidden bar in the capital of Thailand.
Firstly, you will never ever stumble upon this bar – which is perfectly normal for a speakeasy. Even with its address, you might really never find your way into #FindTheLockerRoom. It is THAT hidden. The experience was almost equivalent to playing Escape Room.
But with a little patience, you should get in eventually. It is highly likely that regulars would be rocking up to the bar, and you can just follow suit. But come on, where’s the fun in that?!
How to enter #FindTheLockerRoom
Directions: #FindTheLockerRoom is located beside The Iron Fairies in Thong Lor. Look for the narrow passageway beside The Iron Fairies, and walk in until you see a set of lockers. The set of lockers is your first obstacle, and you have another set of lockers to tackle after.
Despite being slightly tipsy during our last visit.. We have filmed a short 35-second video (see above) during our visit to #FindTheLockerRoom – and we hope it will help you to find your way into the super secret bar!
The bar is the brainchild of four prominent figures in Asia’s cocktail industry, namely Colin Chia from Nutmeg & Clove in Singapore, Hidetsugu Ueno from Bar High Five in Tokyo, Nick Wu from East End in Taipei and Ronnaporn “Neung” Kanivichaporn from Backstage Cocktail Bar in Bangkok. These A-listers are revered for their bartending skills.
While we did not see the A team present during our two visits, the experience was nothing short of stellar even in their absence. #FindTheLockerRoom’s skillful bartenders were good fun, and executed signature creations such as Hidetsugu Ueno’s rendition of The White Lady with finesse.
We aren’t drink critics. But most importantly, we had an awesome night!
