Located beside Bangkok Spa @ Jalan Abiad, Restoran HW Wanton Mee is a popular supper haunt amongst night owls. You will find a steady stream of customers patronising the eatery even during the wee hours.
Originating from Ipoh, the stall’s best selling dishes include the Traditional Ipoh Black Sauce Wanton Mee and White Sauce Wanton Mee. The egg noodles are gently tossed in the sweet sauce and served with thin slices of char siew, bok choy and crispy wanton skin topped off with crunchy lard. Best eaten with a dollop of chilli sauce!

Medan Selera Meldrum Walk features a slew of stalls selling local Malaysian delicacies, where you can find dishes such as Fried Kway Teow, BBQ Stingray, Oyster Omelette, Chicken Wings and many more.
The highly raved Oyster Omelette is a crowd’s favourite. The ratio of egg to oyster is just right and the plump juicy oysters are so fresh that it’s as though they were just plucked from the ocean. The smallest serving goes for only RM 7, which is a steal for such a generous portion.

4. San Low Seafood Restaurant

Located near Woodlands Causeway, San Low Seafood Restaurant 三楼海鲜园 serves delectable Zi Char till 1:00 am every day.
Order the Teochew-style steamed fish (RM 52) – your choice of fish is cooked to perfection and easily removed from the bones, served together with a flavourful broth of tomatoes, salted vegetables, chilli peppers, ginger and green onions.
The seafood restaurant is also known for its signature San Low Fried Bee Hoon (RM 10). Using a steel wok, the rice vermicelli is tossed, pressed and fried till slightly charred – a fragrant dish cooked with eggs, vegetables, fish cake, garlic and onion.

5. Restaurant TaPai Tang
Restoran TaPai Tang has been a supper hotspot since 1998 and the eatery is highly recommended by locals. The air-conditioned restaurant offers beer and wifi so you can stay connected over food and great company.
Famous for their Salt Baked Kampung Chicken (RM 29), the chicken is marinated with Chinese herbs and spices before being wrapped and baked in a parchment paper. The meat is lean, tender and juicy, and the herbal notes from the dang gui and saltiness from the baking process make this a complex and satisfying dish.
Do also try their Wat Dan Hor (RM 9), rice noodles coated in luscious yolk-drenched gravy, cooked together with thin slices of pork, greens, and prawns.

6. Restoran Woon Kiang
Famous for their Kuey Teow Kia, a classic Teo Chew delicacy, Restoran Woon Kiang is a must-try eatery if you are looking for a reliable supper spot. The flat noodles are served in a bowl of piping hot herbal-flavoured soup, topped with chopped spring onions and fried onions.

8. Chaiwalla & Co. Container Cafe
A homegrown cafe brand, Chaiwalla & Co Container Café has grown by leaps and bounds since its early days standing as nothing more than a beverage kiosk along the cafe-laden streets of Jalan Tan Hiok Nee.
As far as food is concerned, the choices are limited to two varieties of meat pie—chicken mushroom and black pepper beef—brownies topped with ice cream and microwaved pasta. They are, however, best known for their variety of customisable beverages with their Thai Milk Tea being the most popular.
