From a beer festival filled with mouthwatering brews; to a sake festival offering over 300 labels, and even a pop-up by one of Asia’s top 50 bars!


1. Legacy Glowhard Festival at Suntec (1 – 2 June)

Hard-style music lovers, Legacy Glowhard is making its return again. Taking place on Thursday, 1 June 2023 at Suntec Convention Centre. The party starts from 9PM on 1st June 2023 to 4AM on 2nd June 2023.

Headlining the festival is British EDM producer and DJ GAMMER, who has played at many global music festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. Sub Zero Project, Le Twins and Wildstylez will be gracing the stages too.

Alongside them are other remarkable international and local jocks, including Brooklyn Bounce, Singapore’s most influential DJ and producer Inquisitive (who was also one of the headliners for Legacy Glowhard 2022), Hyde Lee and Nicole Alexa Choo.

2. JungleBird at MF Bar @ Burger & Lobster (Till 2 June)

Kuala Lumpur’s award-winning rum bar, JungleBird, is taking over Bar MF at Raffles Hotel Singapore from 19 May to 2 June. Ranked #35 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars, JungleBird’s pop-up marks the eagerly awaited return of Bar MF, and the inception of many other landmark collaborations.

Order the Jungle Bird ($24++), the epitome of a perfect summer drink to combat Singapore’s heat. Jungle Bird is crafted with Diplomático’s Mantuano and Reserva Exclusiva, Campari, fresh lime, and pineapple. We love the Nonya Business ($24++) too. It embraces a medley of flavours that will resonate with the taste buds of Singaporeans. It sees the unique mix of pineapple, cucumber, chilli cashew, and rojak dressing along with Diplomático’s Planas Rum.

3. Marquee Presents W&W (3 June)

On the 3rd of June, MARQUEE Singapore will be taken over by the electrifying beats of Dutch DJ and record production duo W&W. Prepare to witness an unforgettable night of non-stop dancing as they unleash their chart-topping hits, including crowd favorites like ‘God Is A Girl’, ‘Bigfoot’, and ‘Heaven Is A Place On Earth’.

The duo first came together in 2007 and started off by producing trance music. Since then, they’ve transcended the boundaries of genres, and are now most known for distinctively combining the uplifting and melodic elements of trance with the raw intensity of electro and progressive house.

4. Sake Festival Singapore 2023 (17 June)

After a 3-year hiatus, Sake Festival will be making its return to Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre this 17 June. Immerse yourself in an exceptional sake and Japanese liquor experience with over 300 different labels available for tasting! At the same time, you can also meet 30+ brewers from different geographic regions.

The festival will also make way for various rare and premium sakes for sale by the glass, such as the world’s first 1% rice polish ratio Tatenokawa Junmai Daigonjo Komyo. Other big name breweries include Yamagata Prefecture’s Tatenokawa Shuzo, Bijofu’s Hamakawa Shoten from Kochi Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture’s Manatsuru, and many others, including hard-to-find small-batch producers.

Tickets are priced at $60 and can be purchased via Sistic. Be the first 1,000 attendees and you’ll receive a custom-made sake cup!

5. Beerfest Asia 2023 (22 – 25 June)

Calling all beer enthusiasts, it’s time to call your beer kakis as Beerfest Asia is back after a 3-year hiatus of physical events! The 13th edition of Asia’s largest beer festival will be happening this 22nd to 25th June at Kallang Outdoor Arena.

The festival will feature a record-breaking 100+ booths that’ll be offering 600+ brews including top-selling brews and newly released flavours. Look forward to savouring crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, malty porters, refreshing sours, and even specialty beers, along with a special curation of gourmet delicacies and live music all night long.

Amongst the headlining brands of locally-made craft beers are award-winning local brewers RedDot BrewHouse, Sunbird Brewing Company and Lion Brewery Co. Some other local breweries that will be joining the festivity for the first time are Alive Brewing, Ollie Hard Seltzer, and Rye & Pint Brewery. There’ll also be various beer selections from China, Germany, Ireland, Poland, San Marino and the US.

6. GastroBeats (1 – 25 June)

Get ready to eat till your heart’s content with the ultimate celebration of Singapore’s food scene as GastroBeats is taking place from the 1st to 25th of June at the Bayfront Event Space! It’s going to be a fun, exciting, and inclusive event that showcases the rich diversity of Singaporean culture with tons of food, live performances, and games.

We’d recommend going with an empty stomach as there’ll be plentiful of food options curated to much-loved local and international flavours. There will be thematic streets, such as the Local Street, Thailand Food Street, and Taiwan Food Street, to name some. At Local Street, you can find street-food vendors offering the best traditional hawker foods, and even home-based businesses.
