Congratulations to our dear friends at Sake Matsuri. It’s both inspiring and heartwarming to see how what began as an intimate gathering of sake enthusiasts has grown into Southeast Asia’s largest sake festival. Now in its 12th edition, the Singapore-founded event returns to the F1 Pit Building this 28–29 March 2026.

Festivalgoers can look forward to over 500 sakes and spirits, alongside a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture and craftsmanship.

Sake Matsuri is now Southeast Asia’s Largest Sake Festival

This year’s edition will span two fully air-conditioned halls, offering a more immersive and comfortable experience. One hall will be dedicated to sake, while the other will showcase a curated selection of premium spirits.

Adding to the experience, popular Japanese speakeasy Shin Gi Tai will be serving cocktails crafted with selected spirits.

Tickets start from $55 per person, which includes a three-hour free-flow tasting session. For those looking to elevate their experience, VIP all-day access passes are available at $128 per person, granting priority access to exclusive masterclasses.

Over 500 Sakes and Spirits to Discover at Sake Matsuri

Sake enthusiasts can look forward to an exceptional lineup, including labels that are making their debut in Singapore.

Among the highlights is Yamamoto Honke, a Kyoto-based brewery established in 1677 and now helmed by its 11th generation. The brewery uses “Shirakikusui,” a pristine natural soft spring water prized for its clarity and richness, resulting in elegantly refined sake expressions.

Another standout is Kankoubai Shuzo, a historic brewery founded in 1854. Originally known for its umeshu, the brewery has since evolved into an award-winning sake producer. We recently had the pleasure of experiencing their artisanal range at a sake pairing dinner, and festival goers can look forward to selections such as:

  • Kankoubai Junmai Ginjo TORECE13
  • Kankoubai Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki 40%
  • Kankoubai White Yuzu Sake

These exquisite sake bottles will be available at Erniells’ booth.

Masterclasses with Industry Experts

For those keen to deepen their appreciation of sake, a series of masterclasses will be held throughout the weekend, led by industry experts.

Speakers include:

  • Adrian Goh, Co-founder of Sake Matsuri and Director of Inter Rice Asia
  • Elliot Faber, Founding Beverage Director of Michelin-starred Yardbird Hong Kong
  • Hansel, Head Sommelier and Director of Sake Street Singapore

Craft, Culture, Food and Entertainment

Beyond drinks, Sake Matsuri continues to spotlight craftsmanship and culture. This year introduces the Matsuri Vintage Market, presented in collaboration with The Retro Factory, where over 20 vendors will offer a curated selection of collectible and artisanal finds.

A lineup of eateries—including Assumption Fine Foods, Fatt Choy Eating House, Odem, The Oyster Cart, Tensei, Ye Olde Cow and Yoppi—will be serving dishes thoughtfully designed to pair with sake, spirits and beer.
